My recommendation
If you’re the type of traveler who enjoys a packed itinerary and wants to see as much as possible, the Singapore All-Inclusive Pass could be your perfect fit.
However, if you prefer the freedom to choose a limited number of experiences and explore them at your own pace, the Singapore Explorer Pass may be more your style.
Why Should You Consider Singapore City Cards?
Singapore is a fantastic city with a myriad of attractions. From the stunning Gardens by the Bay to the exotic dishes at Chinatown Food Street, there’s so much to see and do.
However, the cost of entry to all these places can quickly add up and become quite expensive. This is where Singapore City Cards come into play. These passes provide access to key attractions, sometimes even with priority entry, all at a more affordable price.
In short: they’re a simple and quick way to ease your travel budget!

How do the Singapore City Cards work?
Whether you choose the Singapore Explorer Pass or the Singapore All-Inclusive Pass, their functionality is essentially the same:
#1 Purchase in advance, activate, and use in Singapore
The sightseeing passes are an excellent way to manage your travel budget. If you’ve decided on a Singapore Pass, here are the steps to follow:
- Step 1: After purchasing, you’ll receive the booking confirmation via email.
- Step 2: You can either print this confirmation (it serves as your pass) or download it as an electronic version into the free Go City app (I recommend using the app).
- Step 3: Once in Singapore, present it at the ticket counter of the attraction (NOTE: some attractions may require a reservation).
- Step 4: You’re ready to explore!
#2 Save on key attractions and tours in Singapore
You can expect to save over 20% on average, with potential savings of 30-50% being even more common!
#3 Easy and Convenient
These passes offer flexibility in terms of the number of attractions or days they are valid for.
For example, if you choose the Explorer Pass for 5 attractions, it allows entry to exactly those 5 attractions. Conversely, an All-Inclusive Pass valid for 3 days enables you to visit as many attractions as you like within that period.
Which is the best Singapore Pass?
This is a tough question, as the answer depends on what you want to see, how many days you have, and who you’re traveling with in Singapore. However, there are some attraction passes that stand out among the others:
#1 The best Singapore City Card for first-time visitors to Singapore
If you want to see a full set of attractions, day-based are the best choice for you. Why? For a fixed price, you can visit as many attractions as you like or can manage. With the Singapore All-Inclusive Pass by Go City, you can choose from up to 40 attractions, day trips, boat tours, and hop-on hop-off bus tours. The price doesn’t change whether you visit 10 or 15! Isn’t that great?
My advice: days count consecutively, so don’t leave a spare day in between or it will expire!
#2 The best Singapore Pass for families
Attraction-based passes like the Explorer Pass are perfect for families with kids, as you can plan a day without sightseeing in between. Do the kids prefer to do something else during the day than what you wanted to do in the first place? No problem, just do it another day!
Here, you can buy the Singapore Explorer Pass .
