Wondering how to quickly and easily find out which New York Pass is the best? Then try my free New York City Savings Calculator here!
Just select the attractions and tours you want to visit and you’ll see which New York Pass is worth it.
My advice: You can find an overview of all passes in my New York Pass comparison.
How the New York savings calculator works
I have entered the normal adult and child ticket prices for more than 150 different attractions and tours you can visit in New York. This is the price you would have to pay if you booked the attraction separately.
Also listed are the current prices, including valid discount codes, for each of the many New York Passes (over 50 different options in total).
Now you can decide which New York Pass is worth it for you based on your individual travel needs – and you can also find out if none of the New York Passes are worth it!
Depending on the attractions you selected in my New York Pass calculator, two passes may be better for you: a comfortable one and a cheaper one.
What does the most convenient pass mean?
The most convenient pass is the one in which all attractions are included. This means you don’t need to book any other tickets separately: with this pass, you already have all the tickets!
What does the cheaper New York Pass include?
In some cases, you can make maximum savings by combining a New York Pass with individual tickets.
For example, there is the Explorer Pass for 5 and 6 attractions. Say you have selected 6 attractions that are all included in the Explorer Pass. Then your most convenient option is the Explorer Pass for 6 attractions.
However, you also have to pay if it makes sense to choose the smaller pass with 5 attractions and buy tickets separately for your 6th attraction.
This is always the case if this attraction separately is cheaper than the surcharge from the smaller Explorer Pass to the larger one. As a result, you will need both your matching New York Pass and the separate ticket in New York!
So you can decide which option suits you best.
Tip for travelling with children
Pass providers often apply different age limits for children. Therefore, before you travel, check whether your child is considered an adult or not.
