What is the New York Essentials Pass?

The new Essentials Pass New York is one of the Go City discount passes for NYC that gives you access to three of the 13 most popular attractions in NYC. With the Essentials Pass, you can choose one of four observation decks and two additional attractions.

You can decide on site which attractions you want to see, there is no need to choose in advance.

What I like about this pass is the flexibility it offers. After the first use you have 30 days to visit the other two attractions.


How does the New York Essentials Pass work?

  • Step 1: After booking the pass on the Go City website, you will receive your personal pass number, which you can use in the free Go City app.
  • Step 2: When you are in New York, you just show your New York Essentials Pass at the respective attractions …
  • Step 3: … it will be scanned at the ticket counter and you will receive your admission ticket.
  • Step 4: That’s it – you’re ready to start sightseeing!

Which attractions are included in the New York Essentials Pass?

The Essentials Pass includes a total of 13 of the most popular attractions and tours in New York. You can choose three of them.

The New York Pass Essentials costs $99 for adults and $79 for children (3-12 years).
