How do the attraction passes for London work?

Whether you opt for the London Explorer Pass, the London Pass, the London Sightseeing Pass or the All-Inclusive Pass, they all work in the same way. After finding and buying your perfect London Pass, these are the next steps:

  • Step 1: You will receive the booking confirmation by email.
  • Step 2: Print this out (it is already your pass) or (even better) download it directly as an electronic version in the free app of the respective London Pass provider.
  • Step 3: When you arrive in London, show it at the ticket counter of the attraction.
  • Step 4: You will receive your admission ticket or your London Pass will be scanned and you’re ready to go!

Which London Pass is the best?

That’s a difficult question, because the answer depends on what you want to see in how many days and who you’re in London with. However, there are some attraction passes that are better than the other candidates:

#1 The best London Pass for first-time visitors

If you want to see a lot of sights, the day-based attraction passes are the best choice for you.

Why? For a fixed price, you can visit as many attractions as you want or can manage.

With the London Pass Plus for 3 days, for example, you can choose from over 100 attractions, walking tours, boat tours and hop on hop off bus tours for 3 days. The price doesn’t change – regardless of whether you visit 10 or 20 of them! Great, isn’t it?

You can buy the London Pass Plus here (don’t forget the discount code LP5LOVING).

My tip: the days count consecutively, so don’t leave a day free in between – otherwise it will expire!

#2 The best London Pass for families

The attraction-based London Explorer Pass is perfect for families with children because you can plan a day without sightseeing in between. The kids would rather do something else during the day than you originally wanted? No problem, just do it another day!

You can buy the London Explorer Pass here (don’t forget the discount code GO5LOVING).

#3 The best London Pass if you’ve been to London before

Are you a London repeat offender? Great! Then you’ll have a much more relaxed experience of the city, because you’ll certainly have already visited a lot of the well-known sights on your first holiday.

In this case the London Explorer Pass is ideal for you.
